Tranter Runs Hotter’N Hell Hundred Rest Stop

Wichita Falls, TX, USA. September 7, 2021 – The Hotter’N Hell Hundred (HHH) is one of the oldest and largest cycling events in the nation. Over 13,000 riders from across the globe come to Wichita Falls, TX for 4 days of challenging and inspiring activities.

This year HHH celebrated its 40th year and was held on August 28th. The event was a big success with 10,100 registered cyclists. Of that, over 8,000 attempted the 100-mile route.

The Tranter team was excited to run and sponsor the number eight (# 8) rest stop (locally known as The Neon Spoke) located at mile 77 on the 100-mile course. This is the eighth year that Tranter has ran the rest stop and the team looks forward to every year. The rest stop is an oasis from the hot sun, hot concrete and dry wind. The riders can rest in the shade and get refreshed so they can finish the rest of the route. Over the course of eight hours, the Tranter team served countless bananas, oranges, pickles, pickle juice, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, electrolyte fluids, water and refreshing ice-cold towels. The Neon Spoke had 40 volunteers that made the day run like clockwork and showed the cyclists our “Southern Hospitability!”
