Yanmar's new smart vineyard robot, the YV01, is now in full production and available for the champagne and wine market in France. With a suite of advanced technology, the spraying robot is fully autonomous. It relieves wine growers of labor-intensive work in vineyards and improves productivity, profitability and safety. Tuff Torq Corporation, a group company of Yanmar Holdings has celebrated the opening of a new expansion of its existing production facilities. The expansion adds approximately 20,000 square feet to the current building and will be utilized to meet the high demand for Tuff Torq’s TZ series transaxle production, as well as forging the way for the company’s new eDS (electric) product line.
Yanmar America Corporation has announced a supply agreement with TYM Corporation to provide 3 models of Yanmar-branded tractors. The tractors will be launched in 2023 and available in the North American market. The agreement builds upon the existing cooperation between Yanmar and TYM groups, where Yanmar supplies its TNV diesel engines to TYM for their range of sub compact and compact tractors.
Yanmar America supported the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter with Christmas presents for all the children at the shelter. Yanmar America employees loaded up 4 vans full of gifts and delivered them to the shelter on Wednesday, December 14th. Yanmar America departments chose to sponsor all 27 kids, aged 1 to 17, who are residents of the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter.
Yanmar America has just completed installations of powerful and fuel-efficient marine diesel engines in two such vessels: the Mattie & Ayva and the KGB both based out of Bucks Harbor, Maine. The Mattie & Ayva is a new vessel while the KGB has been given a new lease on life with a Yanmar repower. Both vessels are powered by the Yanmar 6AYEM-ET common-rail, marine diesel engine.
