Yanmar has concluded a Master Dealer Agreement with compact tractor and machinery company Wassenberg GmbH, for the sales and service of the YANMAR YT and SA 22-60 HP compact tractor series in Germany. The partnership has secured an important green sector contract in the city of Cologne.
Yanmar has announced the upgrades of its autonomous tractor series, which are capable of full or partially autonomous work. The new versions will go on sale in Japan from April 1st, 2021. The upgraded robot/auto tractors will utilize a multi-frequency antenna for stable connection and higher positioning accuracy towards a safer, even more efficient autonomous tractor.
With a signing ceremony held in Istanbul, Yanmar has completed the acquisition of Solis Traktör Sanayi A.Ş., located in Izmir Menderes ITOB from its partner in Turkey, International Tractor Limited (ITL). Yanmar has developed a diesel-powered high seedling density rice transplanter that utilizes the Group’s proprietary autonomous driving technology for straight-line planting and autonomous operation. The technology is expected to simplify rice seedling planting operations and reduce operator fatigue. The YR8D, A, auto-rice transplanter will go on sale from February 1st, 2019 in Japan.
