Yanmar Agribusiness Co., Ltd. (Yanmar AG), a subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings, has revealed its e-X1 concept, an electric drive compact electric agricultural machine designed to achieve zero emissions in agriculture. The machine can accommodate various implements such as rotary tillers and grass cutters at the front and rear, enabling tasks like weeding, snow removal, and cultivating.
Hitachi Zosen Corporation, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and Yanmar Power Technology have proposed Development of Methane Slip Reduction Technology with Hitachi Zosen as the managing company in the Development of Next Generation Vessels Project publicly solicited by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization under the Green Innovation Fund. The proposal was adopted.
Yanmar has delivered two 6EY26DF dual-fuel commercial marine engines with the ability to use both heavy fuel oil (HFO) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) as fuel for tugboat. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) will take delivery of the vessels once construction is completed in February 2019 with the tugboat expected to commence operation in April 2019.
