New Swedish game Adventure Box announce their Kickstarter campaign to start October 24th 2014.
Having a noticed a rapidly growing following of alpha testers for their game Adventure Box – The Founding of an Empire, Happy L-Lord AB have decided to embark on a Kickstarter campaign to be launched on October 24th 2014 and run for six weeks. The target for the campaign is to raise 120 000 USD to see the company through to the Beta release of the game in March 2015.
Adventure Box – The Founding of an Empire is a free-to-play city-building multiplayer RPG, in full 3D, in the browser.
You are an adventurer in a new world setting out to build the first city of your empire. You develop your character by fighting and exploring. As your character grows, your city grows. Will you become a dark wizard, tyrant of a corrupt city, or a brave paladin, prince of a city of light?
The first chapter will see you rise to become the lord of a great city. The next chapter, The Uniting of an Empire...
Adventure Box utilizes the new HTML5 protocols, which means that the game can be played completely in the web browser. No download is required. This makes it much easier to get started playing the game, and sharing it with friends.
International start-up company Happy L-Lord AB, the owner and creator of the trademark Adventure Box, have their headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. Currently employing six fulltime employees and eight consultants, three of which work from the fully owned daughter company Happy L-Lord Ltd in London (England), one in Paris (France), one in Seville (Spain) and one in Dublin (Ireland).
The Kickstarter campaign is announced at the EGX Game Show in London. You will find us at EXG in London at Stand number 82SE
