Arla Foods Ingredients moves closer to customers in Mexico City
The arrival of the New Year brought the opening of a new office for Arla Foods Ingredients in Mexico. Located in Mexico City, the office puts the sales team in closer daily contact with customers, many of which are based in and around the capital.
Since the Mexican subsidiary was founded in 2005, the sales force has worked from various locations in the country. The new base will accommodate a planned expansion of the team to meet growing customer demand for functional milk proteins.
Application specialists visiting from Arla Foods Ingredients in Denmark should also find their working conditions improved, says Jens Kristian Møller, general manager of the Mexican organisation.
“The interior designed is very much inspired by our new head office in Denmark. We make a living from providing creative solutions for our customers, so it has been a priority for us to design an inspiring work environment,” he adds.
Solutions for fermented dairy products have a proven track record on the Mexican market. Among the other successful application areas are bread, meat, ice cream and cheese.
Only the sales team is affected by the office move. Arla Foods Ingredients’ local warehouse and logistics department remain in León in Central Mexico.
