Most innovative supplier in Mexico

Award recognises ongoing contribution to product development

Danone has hailed Arla Foods Ingredients its “Most Innovative Supplier” in Mexico. The biennial award was presented at an official ceremony attended by all Danone’s suppliers on the Mexican market.
Jens Kristian Møller, general manager of Arla Foods Ingredients’ Mexico subsidiary, welcomes the recognition of the local team’s untiring contribution to product development.
”We have a very close working relationship with Danone’s local R&D department,” he says. “We regularly present them with new ideas or suggestions for further developing their existing products.”

Strong business base
In the five years since the subsidiary was established, the Arla Foods Ingredients team has built up a strong business base in Mexico.
Jens Kristian Møller puts the success down to the team’s approach to customer development projects, which mirrors the Twintell® Application Programme launched by Arla Foods Ingredients in 2009.  Technical support is available from the Arla Foods Ingredients application centres in Denmark and Argentina.

Small but unique
“We are up against competitors that have deployed many more people in the market. That’s one of the reasons why we are so proud to receive this award,” Jens Kristian Møller adds. “Although our setup is small, we have big backup that enables us to work in a unique way.”
