New ticket batch sold out in hours - 7,500 on waitinglist for BLAST Pro Series Sao Paulo

In less than 8 hours all 6,000 tickets for BLAST Pro Series São Paulo were sold out. Monday 600 extra tickets were released and again everything was sold out in only hours.

The interest for BLAST in Brazil is overwhelming and more than 7,500 are still on the waiting list for the 2019 kick off of the global tournament series.

On April 12-13 BLAST will debut in US with a tournament in Miami's Watsco Center.

More than 6,000 will be in the arena, millions will be watching online and TV viewers in more than 130 countries will be able to follow the tournament when Ginásio do Ibirapuera arena hosts the first of 2019's BLAST Pro Series tournaments. World-class Counter-Strike teams MIBR, Astralis, Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, NiP and ENCE will compete for a total prize pool of 250,000 dollars.

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo will be the fifth BLAST event and the fifth event in a sold out arena.

We have received an overwhelming welcome in Brazil and Sao Paulo and to sell out in 8 hours and to have so many on the waiting list is humbling. We truly wish, we could accommodate all the Brazilian fans, and we have released as many tickets as physically possible, Jordi Roig says and adds:

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo marks the beginning of the most ambitious year for the global tournament series yet and within the next month, fans and curious newcomers alike will experience the award-winning esports tournament in São Paulo and Miami. 

No later than May 11, BLAST Pro Series is coming to the cultural metropolitan Madrid, the heart and capital of Spain and several more international cities and venues will be added.

BLAST Pro Series Lisbon was awarded "Event of the Year" in Portugal and fans won't have to travel far to experience the ecstatic atmosphere again when BLAST Pro Series comes to Madrid, Spain.
