Jordi Roig, Executive Producer of BLAST Pro Series:

- The show and format is groundbreaking in the booming world of esports. RFRSH Entertainment, who is behind BLAST Pro Series, has invested significantly in developing a new entertainment format to present world-class esports in a much more fun and engaging format than ever seen before. We have filled out every arena we’ve played and presenting the series to the US fans for the first time ever will be an amazing spectacle.

- US is stacked with some of the biggest names in esports and for them to battle it out on the iconic BLAST stage in the context of the massive digital screens and a sound- and light set-up bigger than most concerts is bound to be an amazing experience.BLAST Pro Series has sold out all tournaments in 2017, 18 and 19 so far.

The hottest rivalry in professional Counter-Strike

Team Liquid has represented the US in the most extraordinary fashion throughout 2018 placing them #2 on the world rankings only surpassed by their rivals Astralis.

Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, professional Counter-Strike player, Team Liquid:

- Astralis is no doubt the toughest match-up for us. They had the upper hand in most of 2018, but we put a stop to it in January, when we beat them in Los Angeles. When we meet again in BLAST Pro Series Miami I have no doubt it will be an intense fight but hopefully our fans will help us in taking another win, "EliGE" says and emphasizes on the importance of fans:

- We've seen what BLAST Pro Series has delivered in other countries and we are incredibly excited to not only play on the amazing stage but do it on home soil in front of a packed arena. Playing in front of a home crowd is truly something special and I hope our fans in the US will show up in force, says Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski.

The BLAST Pro Series trophy comes with 125,000 dollars for the winning team.

Cloud9 - the American giants

With teams in 10 different esports like League of Legends with 350 million viewers globally and a world class Counter-Strike team, Cloud9 is undoubtedly one of the biggest brands in esports with a gigantic following in the US.

Timothy “autimatic” Ta, professional Counter-Strike player, Cloud9:

- I’ve experienced the home soil advantage first hand. Starting 2018 by winning the Major in Boston in front of all our fans was a magical experience. BLAST Pro Series Miami will be an even bigger challenge seeing how the competition consists of only the best teams compiled into a very concentrated matter of pure skill. But as long as the fans are there, we can do it, “autimatic” says.

With both Cloud9 and Team Liquid present in Miami, this will be the most stacked BLAST tournament ever in terms of local talent and teams.

FaZe Clan and its unrivaled reach

FaZe Clan and its players has more than 100 million collective followers across all social media platforms, making them the biggest esports organization in terms of followers. The US based brand has a Counter-Strike roster of international superstars, which makes the brand even stronger on a global scale.

Jordi Roig, Executive Producer for BLAST Pro Series:

- We’ve had FaZe Clan at most of our BLAST tournaments and there’s a good reason for that. Not only do they bring top level Counter-Strike to the table, but their fan base is so vast that they show up in massive numbers where in the world we go, Jordi Roig says.

FaZe fans can be found everywhere in the world, but in especially big numbers in the US where the organization was formed and still resides.

In America, For Everybody

The US is without a doubt the most represented country at BLAST Pro Series Miami but there’s plenty of reason for expats, tourists and others to attend BLAST Pro Series Miami.

Jordi Roig, Executive Producer for BLAST Pro Series:

- We know by experience that BLAST draws a lot of international fans and adding Miami’s large Brazilian, Russian and European communities to the strong US fanbase, we expect an international atmosphere in the arena with fans from all over the world. We sold out the Sao Paulo tournament in only 8 hours so we’re very happy to add the legendary Brazilian team MIBR to the Miami line-up, says Jordi Roig.

The superstars in MIBR have won several major tournaments together with world renowned leader Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo leading world class players like Marcelo “coldzera” David who was named the #2 best player in the world in 2017.

Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, professional Counter-Strike player, MIBR:

- Thousands of fans showed up to watch us at BLAST Pro Series Lisbon where we made the entire arena shake. At the upcoming BLAST Pro Series São Paulo we are playing in front of a full house as well. I wholeheartedly believe that our wonderful fans in Miami will be just as amazing, “FalleN” says.

The Brazilians of MIBR won the very first BLAST Pro Series tournament in Copenhagen in 2017.

The Foreign Forces

The US teams are not just going to meet competition to the South but to the East as well. Ukrainian/Russian team NAVI has already been confirmed alongside the #1 in the world, Astralis from Denmark. NAVI is bringing former Team Liquid player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev ranked as the best player in the world and Astralis’ Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz ranked as the second best player in the world is going to be present in Miami as well.

The force of all 6 teams, Team Liquid, Cloud9, FaZe Clan, MIBR, NAVI and Astralis, is the recipe for nothing short of the most intense showcase of pure skill in the US in all of 2019 - so far. Because Miami is the first stop for BLAST Pro Series in the US but by no means the last. Another equally stacked US BLAST tournament is already on the drawing board for this calendar year.

Tickets for the historic BLAST Pro Series Miami is available right now on Ticketmaster.
