Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, together with the Chairman of the Regional Council in the Capital Region of Denmark, Sophie Haestorp Andersen, will be officially opening BLAST Pro Series!

Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, Brian Mikkelsen:

- Digitization has changed the world. Not least the sports and entertainment industry where esport and gaming is growing rapidly these years. Gaming is now bigger than movies and music, and this development only seems to continue. I see a great potential in gaming with the potential to create thousands of jobs and economic growth if we manage to grasp this opportunity and stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in the industry.

- I am very proud that Denmark is in the front line when it comes to embracing and developing gaming and esport. Blast Pro Series is a great example of this and I hope that the tournament will create more awareness on the great potential in esports and gaming. Not only in Denmark, but also on a global scale, Mikkelsen comments.

With almost 12.000 tickets sold for Saturday’s event in Royal Arena, BLAST Pro Series is sold out. The tournament will be streamed globally in a minimum of 12 different languages on Twitch, and it will be broadcasted live on national Danish TV as well as in 14 other countries.

BLAST Pro Series is supported by the region of Greater Copenhagen as well as Wonderful Copenhagen.
