- We’re very excited to be invited to BLAST Pro Series in São Paulo. Watching the BLAST tournaments is so much fun and playing on that stage will be a rush! It will almost be a rematch of the Major play-offs.

Major finalist ENCE confirmed as sixth team for BLAST Pro Series in São Paulo.

The team list for BLAST Pro Series São Paulo has been finalized and what better team to fill the last spot than the Finnish major finalists ENCE.

ENCE fought their way to the Major finals by beating some of the best teams in the world, only to find their amazing run stopped by world’s number 1 Astralis after a heroic effort from the Finnish team.

The spectacular BLAST stage is ready for six of the best teams in the world, including Major finalists ENCE.

Now the fan darlings from Finland will have a chance to revenge the defeat when they play Astralis and 4 of the other play-off teams at BLAST Pro Series in Sao Paulo on March 22-23.

Aleksi “allu” Jalli, ENCE:

- Coming so close to winning a Major has given us even more motivation. So we’re very excited to be invited to BLAST Pro Series in São Paulo. Watching the BLAST tournaments is so much fun and playing on that stage will be a rush! With the other five teams invited, it will almost be a rematch of the Major play-offs. And this time we plan to go all the way.

With the addition of ENCE to the São Paulo line-up, the 6 team line-up now consists of teams that all made it to the play-offs at the Major.

17-year old Jere “sergej” Salo played his heart out for ENCE throughout the entire Major and is looking forward to establishing his name even more in top-level Counter-Strike:

- The teams coming to BLAST Pro Series São Paulo are all extremely tough opponents. But we have already proved we can beat most of them and I know we can win beat them again, young “sergej” says and adds:

- I’m excited to face off against Astralis again and fans in the arena should be equally excited. We’ve learned a lot from our match at the Major and we are ready to give them a proper fight at BLAST Pro Series São Paulo.

Last weekend BLAST Pro Series was awarded “2018’s Event of the Year” in Portugal after 6,000 fans in December joined together in a sold out Altice Arena for BLAST Pro Series Lisbon in some of the most beautiful display of audience engagement in esports.

The audience at BLAST Pro Series delivers award-winning atmospheres.

Jordi Roig, Executive Producer for BLAST Pro Series:

- If you have ever been to a BLAST tournament, seen it online on stream or on TV, you know what it is all about: World-Class entertainment and world-class Counter-Strike in atmosphere so intense, passionate and vibrant it leaves all spectators breathless. We have now been awarded with two prizes for the event, and I do believe the coming tournaments will be even more exciting and entertaining for the fans, Jordi Roig says and adds:

- The teams coming to BLAST Pro Series São Paulo and Miami three weeks later are at the top of their game, and our first two tournaments of the year are arguably the most stacked in terms of talent. The audience at BLAST Pro Series have been amazing on all levels and we have no reason to believe Sao Paulo and Miami will be any different, Roig comments.
