Press release -

Anders Krab-Johansen to Leave Dagbladet Børsen

Anders Krab-Johansen, editor-in-chief and CEO of Denmark’s leading business daily, Dagbladet Børsen, will be leaving the paper to take over as CEO and publisher of Berlingske Media. Krab-Johansen has been editor-in-chief and CEO at Dagbladet Børsen since 2011.

Allan Hansen will step in as acting CEO for Dagbladet Børsen and chairman of Børsen Associated Media. Allan Hansen is currently commercial director for Dagbladet Børsen and board member for Børsen Associated Media. Jørgen Andresen, currently managing editor of Dagbladet Børsen, will take on the role of responsible editor in addition to continuing as managing editor.

The rest of the management team for Dagbladet Børsen, consisting of Lars Schmidt, CFO and Louise Stenbjerre, editorial director, will continue in their current roles.

“Anders has been a strong leader both editorially and financially during his tenure at Børsen, and contributed significantly to its success, both in terms of journalism and profitability,” says Karmo Kaas-Lutsberg, Bonnier business area head for Business to Business, of which Børsen is a part.

The recruiting process for a permanent replacement will begin immediately. During the coming weeks, Anders Krab-Johansen will work together with Allan Hansen and rest of the management team to hand over the business.

Bonnier is a majority owner of Børsen. Under a deal concluded in January 2017, J.P./Politikens Hus owns a 49.9 percent stake in the business daily and its affiliated businesses.
