This significant milestone marks the first implementation of an automated mooring system in South America, setting a new standard for port technology in the region.

Finland’s Port of Helsinki has made a repeat order for Cavotec’s MoorMaster™ automated mooring system as part of wider efforts to optimize safety and efficiency and reduce environmental impact. This is the second MoorMaster™ order at Port of Helsinki and follows similar orders from the Port of Turku and Port of Tallinn in recent months.
Cavotec has signed an agreement with a port operator to equip two berths at a terminal with MoorMaster™ automated mooring systems. Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2019, with the systems entering service in 2020.
