Charge Amps in Finland

When you read about charging products for the automotive world, most people think primarily of cars. Maybe for the simple reason that chargeable motorcycles are not yet as common as automobiles. In Europe there is not many registered motorcycles, but one of them belongs to Kari Kallonen in Finland who has chosen to charge his motorcycle with SPARK charging-cable from Charge Amps;

- The best thing about SPARK is that the cable is small and light and therefore easy to carry with you while travelling. Since the power is adjustable and the cable is light and flexible I can heartily recommend the cable to anyone who wants to charge, whether it is a car or a motorcycle.

Kari Kallonen who is chairman of the Finnish Electric Vechicle Association works actively for more political incentives and says that Finland's environmental goals are a 40% reduction in fossil fuel use by 2030.

Charlotte Eisner; CEO at Charge Amps:

- It is extremely gratifying that we can see that things are starting to happen in Finland.

The country's political leaders drive electric cars and we hope for the same focus and co- operation in Finland, as in Norway and Sweden, to get more people to drive fossil-free. We have 15 years to reverse the trend of CO2 emissions. The Nordic countries have every opportunity to hold leading position in green tech. Finland is no different from Sweden in terms of the need for motorized transport. We challenge our neighbour Finland to try EVs in larger cities and PHEV  for those who need to travel far. Sweden has a long way to go to reach Norway's level, but the trend is crystal clear and the increase in the number of EVs has moved quickly. Sweden and Finland have long competed with each other in many sports, now we challenge you to take up the race of the number of EVs on our roads.

We see a large and growing interest in our charging products among motorcycle enthusiasts, since low weight, agility and flexibility are essential to the motorcycling enthusiast.

-  We think it´s supercool that our SPARK cable charge Electric Motorcycles in Finland. Kari Kallonen is a true role model and an inspiration, and we have the same mind set; It is obviously very fun to drive on electricity, with full effect from the first second, completely silent, completely free of emissions says Charlotte Eisner.
