Charge Amps wants to grow and safeguard the industry

The industry of electric vehicles and charging equipment is still young but is growing faster and faster every year. According to Power Circle the Swedish portfolio of rechargeable vehicles passed the 12 500 mark in August. The interest in and need for charging equipment and aftermarket products is increasing. It maybe perceived by many as inconvenient [the use of charging cables}, but if you sort out the different concepts that the vast majority are experiencing it works both simple and convenient.

When a new customer is ordering his EV or plug-in hybrid, the question of charging is raised. For the customer to feel confident that the charge should be made smoothly and safely. Here is where resellers of EV charging equipment face a large and important task.

- We feel confident with the service and backup we get from Charge Amps and the skills and experience they possess. Their support is also very agile says Thomas Meidal, Sales Manager at Autonova, Norway. It feels good to be able to offer the customer a charging cable with more features and a wider range of applications.

                                                    Security and quality

Charge Amps manufactures its products in accordance with the directives applicable; Low Voltage Directive 2006/95 / EC, EMC Directive 2004/108 / EC. This is based on the IEC 61851-1 ED4:

For us as an experienced and serious player in the market, it is obvious that we manufacture charging products that meet all requirements for quality and safety. The market is regulated and only products that are CE marked and are guaranteed to follow the above directives may be recommended. We are represented in the "Electrical Safety Council" and make sure to meet and exceed the requirements of different geographical markets, says Charlotte Eisner, CEO of Charge Amps.

-In Addition, we run issues in our industry councils to find additional ways to test and evaluate the quality to certify of additional products and manufacturers. This will make it easier for customers to find the best charging solutions.

-Also important to emphasize in this context is that all charging products that follow the directives listed above, and have the CE mark, are authorized to be used.

As the end user of the product, it is important to feel secure with both service and support. An electric car owner who has experienced this, Per Sjögren using SPARK charging cable to recharge his Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.

- I am very pleased with both my cable and the information and services that were provided with the purchase of the cable. The best feature of the cable is the adjustable power, it gives me the freedom I want, says Per.
