Elbilhjelpen.no gets the first of new and upgraded charging cable SPARK (with a temperature sensor mounted inside the wall plug) from Charge Amps. SPARK offers adjustable charging current (6,10,16 A) And like previous versions the EV Control Box is placed inside the car connector so that there is no clumpsy or heavy box attached to the cable. SPARK provides the most efficient charging for EV’s or PHEV’s. At16A charging time is shortened by 40%.

The sought after update is a smart temperature sensor, mounted inside the wall plug. SPARK CoolGrey will automatically scale down the charging current to a level where no heat is detected, thus providing safe and reliable charging of the EV. In addition the characteristic blue colour has been changed to a more sophisticated CoolGrey.
