China: Join The Danish Smart Energy R&D Days in China

February 25-28, 2014, Smart Energy Resaerch and Development Days will be conducted in China. The deadline for application is January 20, 2014.

As a part of the Chinese objective to reduce carbon mitigation, China has set ambitious smart grid development targets, which includes billions invested in developing a nationwide smart grid.  In China, smart grid covers six areas: power generation, transmission, transformation, distribution, consumption and dispatching. In China, there is a great interest for Danish involvement in research, development and innovation within smart energy.

February 25-28, the Danish smart energy Research and Development Days are conducted in China.  Participation is relevant for researchers from Danish universities and research institutions, R&D-directors and business development managers from companies and representatives from knowledge institutions, network organisations and grid owners, who all share expertise on smart energy in Denmark and an interest in smart energy in China.

The R&D Days provide Danish stakeholders a unique opportunity to meet Chinese stakeholders incl. the large Chinese grid owners, universities and companies, to showcase Danish competences and technologies, get first hand insight into challenges and opportunities in China’s fast-growing smart grid sector and market and establish and strengthen partnerships between Chinese and Danish stakeholders within research and innovation and define potential business opportunities for Danish companies in China.

The price for representatives from Danish universities and research institutions: Free of charge.

For other representatives: Full programme at a reduced price of 7,400 DKK for first representative and 1,850 DKK per additional one, due to the funding from the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education.
