Stockholm, June 13, 2017 – Snow Software (“Snow”), the global leader in Software Asset Management (“SAM”) and Cloud Spend Management solutions, today announced that Snow License Manager was named a 2017 SIIA CODiE Awards finalist in the Best IT Operations Management Solution category. Finalists represent the best products, technologies, and services in software, information and business technology.
Snow License Manager is the hub of Snow’s advanced Software Asset Management (SAM) platform – providing a unified view of all the software and hardware assets, license entitlements and application usage metrics. Users access just one interface to manage multiple software vendors, device types and locations across mobile, desktop, data center and cloud platforms.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier awards for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for over 30 years. The awards offer 93 categories that are organized by industry focus of education technology and business technology. Snow License Manager was honored as one of 205 finalists across the 59 business technology categories.
“I am impressed by the level of innovation and creativity of the products that have been selected as this year's CODiE Award finalists. We are happy to recognize these products and the power they have to transform the future of how we do business.” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA.
“We are delighted to be named a finalist in this year’s SIIA CODiE Awards,” says Peter Bjorkman, CTO, Snow Software. “Snow License Manager used by thousands of organizations globally provides proactive Software Asset Management functionality to optimize software license use, reduce costs and deliver clarity across the organization. Its extensive reporting capabilities enable greater transparency and forecasting, bringing more value to stakeholders including C-level executives and SAM managers. Only last month we extended functionality so companies get the insight they need to optimize their Office 365 costs by shifting users to lower cost plans based on actual usage and provision time-limited subscriptions of expensive applications.”
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants and investors evaluate assigned products during the first-round review which determines the finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. Winners will be announced during the CODiE Award Business Technology Winner Announcement & Celebration, July 25 in San Francisco.
