2023 was a year of sustainability progress across Duni Group. Various initiatives brought the Group closer to the net zero goal, towards a fossil-free future. The Annual and Sustainability report for 2023 is now available online.
This year's EcoVadis results have recently been published, and once again, Duni Group has improved its performance for the fifth year in a row. With an increase of 4 points, from 73 to 77, the company maintains its gold ranking and solidifies its position among the top 2 % in the paper and paperboard industry – an improvement from last year's 3 %.
Duni Group’s science-based targets (SBTs) have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). SBTs are greenhouse gas reduction goals that businesses can voluntarily set. They are science-based because they're aligned with the Paris agreement.
After successfully launching fossil-free napkins and placemats in October 2021, Duni has been consistently replacing its products with sustainable alternatives. Now, the company is introducing its new line of Bio Dunicel® in three different formats and four colors.

Starting October 1st most of our transports to customers in Denmark will be conducted using renewable HVO diesel, enabled by a collaboration with our logistics partner Frode Laursen. The transition to HVO diesel contributes to 88 % lower carbon emissions compared to standard diesel trucks.
