Alex Jones designs elephant for UK Elephant Parade

Alex Jones, presenter of BBC’s The One Show has designed "Spirit' for the Elephant Parade UK  tour alongside Mercy Delta. Her elephant has joined the rest of the herd at intu Trafford Centre in Manchester as part of a 14-stop national tour of the UK.

The Elephant Parade national tour is a festival of colour that will energise the host towns and cities it visits. It draws on the work of many established artists and well-known celebrities to create vibrant art creations on elephant statues, raising awareness and funds for elephant conservation.

The Elephant Parade national tour, presented by intu, will visit 14 towns and cities in a 375-day expo that will run until August 2014.

Alex commented: "The Elephant Parade national tour will involve so many people across the UK and I’m pleased to be part of it.”
