​Harri Leiviskä appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Empower Group

M.Sc. Economics, MBA Harri Leiviskä has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Empower Group and a member of the Group Executive Team, as of 11 June 2018.

- It is great to welcome Harri to Empower as he has a strong international financial expertise with lots of experience in new technologies and commercialization of products. Harri's previous assignments have taught him a lot about understanding the end customer, so I think he will fit perfectly with us to create the best customer experiences, says CEO Jari Onniselkä.

Harri's background is technology-intensive, as during his long and prosperous career at Nokia he was creating completely new markets both in telecommunication networks and Nokia's most iconic phone models, and most recently he acted as CFO in Suunto being responsible of the company’s finances. At the same time, for the past 3 years Harri has been a member of VTT's Board of Directors. In addition to technology companies, Harri has experience in the pharmaceutical industry from Astra-Zeneca, where he learned thoroughly about the process industry and the highly regulated market.
