Swedish premiere of Essve HDS – Hidden Decking System

Essve launches a complete mounting system for porch and deck building - with hidden heads. With the new Essve HDS – Hidden Decking System, you mount the screw from the side of the plank with Essve’s proprietary mounting tool and special bits. The final result is neat and clean with no visible heads and no chipped or cracked wood.

The new Essve HDS system had its big premiere during this year’s Nordbygg exhibition (Sweden’s largest construction and real estate industry event) with big success. The system, which has been developed for hidden mounting in heat- and pressure-treated impregnated wood, as well as Siberian larch, received solely positive feedback from both professional craftsmen and retailers during the event.

The mounting tool and special bits for Essve HDS will be sold in two variations depending on the width of the decking material: 85-110 mm and 110-150 mm. The screw to use is Essve’s HDS deck screw A4, specifically developed for hidden mounting. The screw is made out of acid-proof stainless steel and the sharp arrow-shaped tip minimizes the risk of splitting the wood and at the same time significantly reducing the torque needed in the mounting process. Under the head of the screw there is an additional thread, providing great clamping power between decking plank and supporting joist, securing a long lasting result.
