Fagerhult to supply WE-EF in Norway and Sweden

Fagerhult are delighted to announce an exclusive agreement for the supply of WE-EF outdoor luminaires in Norway and Sweden. A member of the Fagerhult Group since early 2017, the WE-EF portfolio of specialist architectural solutions is the ideal complement to the existing Fagerhult exterior lighting offer.

Founded in 1950 in Bispingen near Hamburg, WE-EF has grown into one of the world leading exterior lighting companies, illuminating the landscapes of some of the world’s most recognizable buildings such as the Sydney Opera House, the ‘Gherkin’ in London and the 9/11 memorial on Staten Island New York.

With manufacturing facilities in Germany and Thailand and further assembly plants in Australia, France and the US, WE-EF is dedicated to the philosophy of combining form and function, to produce striking and timeless product designs.

“The WE-EF approach to lighting shares a similar focus on manufacturing excellence, environmental responsibility and visual comfort as our own at Fagerhult. With such strong synergies between the two brands, this partnership made perfect sense to us”, commented Daniel Johansson, Managing Director Fagerhults Belysning Sverige AB.

Using carefully selected materials and precision manufacturing processes, WE-EF creates solutions that not only address the aesthetic element but provide the reliability, longevity and ease of installation exterior applications demand.

“When you combine our own innovations in product design and lighting control with that of WE-EF we are in the perfect position to offer our customers high quality, high performance products for virtually any exterior environment. It helps keep their processes streamlined”, added Kai Wilberg, Managing Director of Fagerhult Norway.

The WE-EF product range encompasses street and area lighting including poles, bollards, light columns, floodlights, inground uplights and luminaires for wall and ceiling installation. All manufacturing is in accordance with ISO 9001 certification.

WE-EF will be supplied in Norway from the 1st October and in Sweden from the 1st November.
