Real-time management system from Fältcom streamlines Relacom’s handling of vehicles

Fältcom have, together with Relacom, developed a real-time vehicle management system for handling Relacom’s vehicles and the resources connected. The real-time vehicle management system is integrated with Relacom’s central database where all information about existing resources is entered and updated in real time.

The system complements Relacom's existing strategic planning program for service assignments. It provides precise data for monitoring vehicle use and supports a digital driver's log. All management of vehicles is made in real-time and enables for example, registration of new resources, change of responsible drivers, or change of driver ID directly into the system. The information is delivered in real time to all users, which can directly utilize the resources. A system that saves time and optimizes Relacom’s work.

Relacom is planning for further expansion of the system with RFID readers and an introduction of digital driver's log via Fältcom's communication platform.
