FACOM introduces the R1PICO

Morangis, March 2016 – FACOM has today unveiled the R1PICO – a revolutionary, ultra-compact socket and bit tool set, suitable for tackling a multitude of mechanical tightening and screwing applications. The launch of the R1PICO completes the highly successful FACOM R2NANO series.

Setting new standards with its minute dimensions, the FACOM R1PICO is a smarter, even smaller, more portable set than its R2NANO ‘brother’, and includes an innovative new ¼ inch ratchet (FACOM R.180) with equally compact proportions and a locking, 180° flexible rotating head.

Particularly designed for operators working in tight corners or cramped workspaces, this clever yet practical ratchet offers extreme versatility – and is indispensable for those who regularly carry out essential repairs and maintenance in places with restricted accessibility.

Built into the handle of the R.180 ratchet is a hex magnetic head, transforming this multipurpose tool into a compact and useful screwdriver.

Delivering extra tightening power for more difficult jobs, a high quality, 100mm metal extension, also included in the R1PICO set, converts into a sturdy T-handle – providing additional strength when required.

Moreover, for added practicality, the R1PICO features a new, specially-designed socket bit holder, further improving its compact dimensions.
