Fjällräven´s KAJKA backpack – “PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2009”
Fjällräven’s newly launched Kajka Backpack
received “Product of the Year 2009” from the test team at Sweden’s leading
outdoor magazine Utemagasinet.
Every year, after testing hundreds of outdoor products, Sweden’s largest outdoor magazine and their test team announces their “Product of the Year” award. In 2009 the award goes to Fjällräven’s new trekking backpack Kajka.
“We are really happy that people like this new development. We have put a lot of effort into Kajka and it is a very durable backpack with many great features” says Henrik Andersson, Hardware Product Development Manager at Fjällräven.

In 1960 Åke Nordin founded Fjällräven in his basement in the town of
Örnsköldsvik in northern Sweden. Today our timeless, functional and durable
outdoor equipment enjoys a global presence and can be found in over 23
countries. The collection comprises outdoor clothing for men and women,
backpacks, tents and sleepingbags.
As a company we put a lot of focus on acting
responsible towards other humans, animals and nature and sustaining public
