Glamox publishes global reference book

A lot has happened since the Norwegian entrepreneur behind Glamox, Birger Hatlebakk, founded the company 70 years ago. In recent years Glamox has supplied lighting to places like Heathrow, UKs royal Navy and the Amsterdam Stock Exchange building. A newly published reference book features a long list of impressive projects from the “Glamox world of light”.

Since the founding in 1947 Glamox has grown from a small Norwegian company producing industrial luminaires to a global lighting corporation. To celebrate the extensive global presence Glamox has now published a reference book featuring professional photographs from more than 100 selected projects.

The 285 page book is called “Welcome to our world of light!” and covers reference projects from all Glamox markets and segments, at sea and on land. Amongst the projects the reader will find everything from oil rigs and navy vessels to health care facilities and offices.

“We are very proud to be a preferred lighting supplier to so many impressive projects all over the world. With this book we hope to show not only our products and solutions, but also the competence we’ve built through the seven decades in this industry,” says CEO Rune Marthinussen.
