Introducing Emilia Reimer

Global Focus is pleased and proud to announce that we are expanding our team with another new colleague. Emilia Reimer has overall responsibility for daily operations and has recently joined the company as our Operations Director. 

Emilia comes from a position as PR Relationship Manager at the global company Thomson Reuters - a role which she has combined with board assignments for AIK Football AB and AIK Football Association. Prior to this, she was Account Manager at Hugin, which offers PR and IR tools for different companies. Emilia has a degree in Sports Management at the Sports Academy in Stockholm, and has a background as a professional football player for AIK, where she also captained until 2006.

How will you contribute to Global Focus?
- With a positive attitude and through my work experience from both small and large companies, I hope to develop Global Focus's daily operations and streamline processes in our rapid growth. Internal routines and external communication will initially be priority areas of focus, and I am also looking forward to plan future events. There is a lot of exiting things to come for Global Focus!

Football has been a big part of your life previously. How can you use your rich knowledge and experience of this in your role as Operations Director?
- Global Focus is a very interesting company with several creative and strong people from different backgrounds. It's interesting to see what different people can accomplish together as a team, and for that reason I have always preferred team sports. I’m looking forward to be Global Focus's playmaker, who makes sure that everyone's expertise is used correctly and at the right time.
