Air China Phoenix Miles Partnership Brings Additional Benefits to Swire Hotels Guests

Swire Hotels and Air China are pleased to announce an agreement that welcomes the hotel group as the latest partner of Phoenix Miles.

Starting from 1 Jan 2011, Phoenix Miles members will be able to earn 800 miles for every hotel stay at The Upper House and EAST, Hong Kong and The Opposite House, Beijing.

The strategic partnership will provide Phoenix Miles members with more high-end services and
lucrative mileage accumulation opportunities.

The Opposite House, an intriguing urban hotel, opened in Beijing in 2008 and was followed by The
Upper House which opened in 2009 above Pacific place in Hong Kong. Both houses have received
much praise from local and international guests and media, including being featured on Conde Nast
Traveller and Travel + Leisure’s lists. Café Gray Deluxe from The Upper House has recently been
awarded a Michelin star in the 2011 Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau. Lifestyle business hotel, EAST, Hong Kong, opened in January 2010 at Island East, Hong Kong. EAST is created for business travellers looking for a relaxed, convenient and contemporary environment.

Future properties from Swire Hotels will include EAST, Beijing, a 369-room lifestyle business hotel
located at Jiang Tai, in the Chaoyang district of Beijing, between the 4th and 5th Ring Road and within INDIGO, a joint venture mixed use development by Swire Properties Limited and Sino-Ocean Land Holdings Limited. The location at one of the most attractive business addresses in Beijing, is home to some of the most prestigious local and multinational corporations, which makes it ideal for business travellers.

In the UK, Swire Hotels has launched a new collection of locally inspired and stylish hotels in the heart of great British towns and cities called Chapter Hotels. The first hotel in the collection, The Montpellier Chapter, opened on the 29th November in Cheltenham. The second Chapter hotel will open in Exeter in 2012.
