Meson acquires LK Valves

Meson AB, a leading supplier of Marine and Naval Flow Technology, has signed an agreement to acquire LK Valves (Marine Flow Control), a leading producer and supplier to the global marine industry.

- This is a strategic and important step for Meson, building a stronger platform and improving capabilities which will allow us to serve our customers in an even better way than today, says Anders Ruth CEO of Meson.

The acquisition includes LK Valves’ world class operation and production facility in Changzhou China. This will add an important production dimension to current Meson operations, giving the obvious benefits of improving the supply chain but also increasing quality control, product development capabilities and competitive pricing:
- The team and facility in China will add an important edge to our operations and opens up for new business opportunities, for Meson, says Anders Ruth.

Anders Johansson, CEO of LK Valves, is also thrilled about the acquisition:

The acquisition means that the two companies will merge as one and operate under the name of Meson, but obviously there will be a transition period:
