Combining safety with wellness at Ambiente 2019

Proactive design think tank Magisso will be showing its newest innovations at Ambiente Fair 2019. We are excited to be a part of Ambiente, one of biggest consumer goods fairs.

This year we are focusing on our new Visibility series.

World’s first BPA free reflective hydration bottle designed to keep you safe and visible in low-light environment. Developed in cooperation with the world’s leading stainless-steel container manufacture Haers Vacuum Containers Co Ltd.

The bottle has been inspired by New York city’s Vision Zero-campaign to improve traffic safety.

“I was at the local Starbucks during a work trip and I read an article in the New York Times about the Vision Zero-campaign. I looked through the window at all the people walking in the dark street. No one had a reflector on their sleeve, but almost everyone had a thermos cup or a drinking bottle.” Says Magisson's Creative Director Anssi Hurme.

The traditional pedestrian reflector is only known in the Nordic countries. It was originally invented by the Finnish farmer Arvi Lehti at the end of 1940s. The Magisson Visibility bottle takes Finnish innovation to the world by combining safety, health and fashion in a completely new way.
