Mentice AB today announced that Huddinge University Hospital has chosen the Procedicus® VA system for arthroscopy training education at a clinical training center. This center will focus on simulation based clinical training, which will increase the safety and availability of clinical teaching methods. “Huddinge University Hospital and Mentice AB will collaborate in adopting and assessing simulation-based training in current and future surgical education, according to Kjell Thor M.D., Ph. Procedicus® VA

Procedicus® VA (Virtual Arthroscopy) provides a safe and convenient way to educate and train in arthroscopic procedures. The first released module focuses on minimally invasive shoulder surgery (arthroscopy).
