HP and Mercuri International/PMI receives 2012 Excellence in Practice from ASTD
Stockholm June 12, 2013 –The American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) has selected HP and Mercuri International/PMI to receive a 2012 Excellence in Practice Citation for its Fly High program for Sales Managers at HP.
The Excellence in Practice Awards program recognizes organizations for results achieved through training and development practices and solutions. Citations are presented to organizations with practices that have demonstrated measurable results.
Participants in the Fly High program are strategizing, planning and managing their teams differently, using their time more efficiently and in a way that aligns with the company’s overall strategy. Analysis of quantitative data extracted from HP databases demonstrates higher sales performance among sales managers who participated in the program, compared to a similar group who did not.
ASTD received 150 submissions for the 2012 awards from organizations around the world. Award and citation recipients were honored May 20 at an awards ceremony held during ASTD’s International Conference & Exposition in Dallas, Texas.
