The consultancy company has opted out several businesses areas to focus on selected verticals, including manufacturing, distribution and retail, food and beverage, equipment and service management.

Service, maintenance, rental and Oil&Gas
Largely, the customer businesses are within service, maintenance and rental and in the Oil&Gas industy. The customer reference list include Aarbakke, K. Lund Offshore, GS Hydro, Swire Oilfield Services, Aker Well Service, Nymo, Stangeland Maskin, Nordic Crane Group and Coast Center Base (CCB). Since the dawn of history, thruster systems manufacturer Brunvoll has been trusting Merit as enterprise software provider. In another industry, SAS is a customer demanding the same high standards for reliability as clients within the offshore and maritime sectors. This summer, SAS entered an outsourcing agreement with Merit. Now, Merit is running the SAS Infor M3 based aircraft maintenance systems. Concomitant with this, several SAS employees in Oslo and Stockholm were transferred to Merit as employer.
