Are you ready for the new ECDIS regulations

The Digital Integration Workshop are called ‘Are you ready for the new ECDIS regulations?’, running daily at 10:00am between 29 November and 1 December on our stand at the show.

 The Workshop is modular and is easy to adapt to suit the audience, it has been designed in conjunction with Captain Paul Hailwood, Master Mariner, who has significant experience in the Merchant Navy and Maritime Industry and is a renowned expert on ECDIS and integrated bridge operations.

 The Workshop is aimed at you and your customers – mariners and fleet managers; whether they want to discuss the best way to start to implement digital navigation; or crew training issues, or perhaps the process to use to ensure their bridge procedures are correct and up to date to incorporate digital navigation.

 At the end of the workshop they will have a better understanding of what is required to ensure the safety and efficiency benefits are realised across their fleet and to meet their IMO obligations.

·  Risk assessment

·  Training requirements

·  Technical installation

 The workshop will be presented by Joe Collins, Master Mariner, from the MCA, with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
