Following the release of NaviPlanner last week at Norshipping, Nautisk has confirmed that it will offer FREE OF CHARGE ENCs* to customers in certain segments purchasing a new digital voyage planning package consisting of NaviPlanner and NaviTab.

Nautisk Head of New Product Development and Technology Kjetil Bentsen says:

“Offering our customers free ENCs through NaviPlanner allows us to spread new technology solutions out into the market at a faster rate. We are launching this offer to the offshore and ferry market initially, but hope to expand this offering to all customers going forward.”

“By introducing interactive communication between our customers and our product development team we are able to continue to push updates into the marketplace and offer new features and services to the market. This in turn will drive our entire industry forward.”

Thomas Fjeld, CEO at Nautisk has spearheaded the initiative, saying:

“Nautisk has moved from being a traditional paper chart agent to a world-leading software house at record speed, providing the shipping community with cutting edge solutions for maritime navigation.”

“By offering ENCs free of charge to customers of NaviPlanner and NaviTab, we are pushing ourselves and the wider industry to develop even better solutions for the end user. Data intelligence and the use of analytics through technology is the future and companies like Nautisk have a large part to play.”
