Goldfrapp slipper sitt forbløffende vakre sjette-album ”Tales of Us” den 9. september. Albumet er skrevet og produsert av bandmedlemmene Alison Goldfrapp og Will Gregory selv og er innspilt i bandets studio på den engelske landsbygda.
Det har tatt dem to år å ferdigstille ”Tales of Us”, som er Goldfrapps mest filmatiske og intime album til nå. Ingen av Goldfrapps tidligere album har vist en lyrisk bredde som ”Tales of Us”.
Alle låtene er skrevet i førsteperson og med en liste over suggestive karaktérskisser, stridende kjærlighetsaffærer, hallusinasjoner, eventyr og moderne eventyr tar de poesien i Goldfrapps nøye overveide musikk til nye høyder.
