Mick Harvey, ex Bad Seeds-medlem, er klar med sitt sjette soloalbum "FOUR (Acts of Love)" som slippes via Mute/Playground neste uke.
"FOUR (Acts of Love)" er en betraktning av romantikk, kjærlighet og savn –, gjenoppdagede og pågående strider rundt disse temaene, og deres plass i vårt univers. Albumet er oppdelt i tre akter.
I tillegg til Mick Harveys egne verk inneholder albumet en låt som er komponert av PJ Harvey ("Glorious") samt tolkninger av The Saints "The Story of Love", Van Morrisons "The Way Lovers Do", Exumas "Summertime in New York" og Roy Orbisons "Wild Hearts (Run Out of Time)".
FOUR (Acts of Love) er Mick Harveys sjette studioalbum som følger opp "Sketches from the Book of the Dead" (2011). Harvey, som er kjent fra The Birthday Party og Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, gjorde nylig stor suksess som produsent av PJ Harveys Mercury Prize-belønnede album "Let England Shake".

Senere i år slipper Mick Harvey en samlingsbox med tolkninger av Serge Gainsbourg oversatt til engelsk og som vil inneholde Harveys album "Intoxicated Man" (1995) og "Pink Elephants" (1997) samt bounsspor.
