Noel Gallagher vender tilbake med nytt album. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds slipper album med titlen ’’Chasing Yesterday’’. ’Chasing Yesterday’ slippes den 2. mars 2015 på Sour Mash Records / Playground Music i Skandinavia.

Første singel fra albumet heter ’’In The Heat Of The Moment’’ og slipps den 17. november digitalt samt på en limited 7’’ vinyl med b-siden ’’Do The Damage’’.

“Chasing Yesterday” markerer et nytt kapittel og en ny sound for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Det er det første albumet der Noel både er produsent låtskriver, og her viser han et langt bredere spekter av instrumentering enn noensinne før; Resultatet er en rik, ekspansiv plate med mange lag.

Om å produsere albumet forteller Noel:
“It was a major pain in the arse. It’s not that I’ve ever had people telling me what to write or what direction to go in, but managing sessions from one end of the week to the other proved extremely difficult. I had all these people looking at me and saying: ‘right, what are we doing today? I was making the whole thing up as I went along.”
