SIGUR RÓS - KVEIKUR

Ett av Nordens og Europas mest oppofrende og ambisiøse band - Sigur Rós – gjør seg i disse dager klare for releasen av sitt sjuende studioalbum. 

Bandets tre faste medlemmer Jón Pór Birgisson, Georg Holm og Orri Páll Dýrason har sammen produsert albumet ”Kveikur”, som markerer et skifte til et mer direkte, aggressivt sound. Dramatikken akompagneres av Jónsis knivskarpe falsettsang og bandets patenterte postrock som tar lytteren med på en reise over de islandske geysirene og de fanger oss i et grep som nekter å slippe taket. 

Alle indikasjoner peker nå i samme retning, ”Kveikur” kommer til å bli et av årets mest storslagne slipp. 

28/11 besøker Sigur Rós Norge for en konsert i Oslo Spektrum.
