Sufjan Stevens slipper nytt album "Carrie & Lowell" 30.mars - oppkalt etter mor og stefar Stevens.

Fem år har gått siden Sufjan Stevens slapp ”The Age of Adz”, han har jobbet med ballett, scoret en rodeo dokumentar, utgitt mer julemusikk, og gitt ut et album og EP med sitt sideprosjekt Sisyfos. I år skal han slippe en ny full-lengder. Carrie & Lowell er ute 30.mars i Europa via Asthmatic Kitty. Se albumets trailer nedenfor.

Albumet er oppkalt etter Stevens 'mor og stefar, og de 11 sangene handler om "life and death, love and loss, and the artist's struggle to make sense of the beauty and ugliness of love."

Det er også en tilbakevending til Stevens '"folkelige røtter».
