Press release -

PocketMobile becomes part of Trimble

Earlier today Trimble Navigation Ltd. (NASDAQ:TRMB) announced that it has acquired PocketMobile Communications. PocketMobile will continue its current business and direction as a Business Unit in Trimble’s Field Service Management division.

PocketMobile has experienced strong growth, in the Nordic countries and internationally as a result of the PreCom enterprise mobility platform being increasingly selected by a number of leading, internationally known corporations. At the same time, the market for mobility solutions for field workers has been going through significant changes that are creating exciting opportunities for even more business.

By becoming part of Trimble, we will achieve a global market reach, get access to complementary products and solutions and be able to accelerate the pace of our international growth. The organization will remain as it is today, but be part of Trimble’s FSM division.

All customer commitments, projects, and contacts are unchanged. Our strategy to work with implementation partners also remains the same. PocketMobile’s focus will continue to be to provide leading enterprise mobility solutions for Field Service, Postal and Logistics and Security and Guarding.

We hope you share our enthusiasm for the new journey that starts today. For you as a customer or partner, it means that we will become a stronger company that will be able to provide even better mobility solutions and services to you, globally if needed.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your PocketMobile contact, to Anders Tormod, anders.tormod@pocketmobile.se, or to Fredrik Berglund, fredrik.berglund@pocketmobile.se.
