A popup before sending external emails can be very useful to improve enterprise security as there are numerous examples of data leakage caused by misdelivered emails. Just a few days ago, there was this story where the Northwest Territories Power Corporation sent a letter to its customers telling them about a data security breach involving their personal information earlier this month. The company says that on Jan. 13, the company replied by email to a customer inquiry and attached the wrong file to that outgoing email. This is a prime example of a data leakage that SafeSend would have prevented.
