New Chairman of the board of Nordic Council of Shopping Centers

Fredrik Kolterjahn was appointed new chairman of NCSC at the annual general meeting in Stockholm on May 10^th. Fredrik has a background as a retail consultant at HUI Research where he was sales manager and he is currently the Head of Research for JLL in Sweden. Fredrik’s work has during the years been focused on retail trends and shopping center development. He is a well-known and public person in the commercial real estate and shopping center industry in Sweden.

-The last couple of years have seen some influential changes to our industry. ”After-crisis-repositioning”, internationalization in all areas, E-commerce and now a rapidly growing digitalization. Through these times NCSC has proven to be a platform for meeting colleagues and get updated information. It has been an honor and pleasure to serve as NCSC´s chairman during this period, I am deeply grateful. I am very sure that Fredrik will steer us through the coming times with a steady hand, I wish him the best of luck in all! Says Wilner Anderson, outgoing chairman.

-This nomination is a great honor and I will do my utmost to drive the association forward to become a more outspoken voice of the shopping center industry in the Nordics. It is my firm belief that many questions that surround the industry is based more on feeling than on fact and I see it as part of my job as chairman of NCSC to challenge these. NCSC has done great during Wilner’s tenure as chairman and I hope to continue on this path during the coming two years, says Fredrik Kolterjahn Chairman of NCSC.

The annual general meeting also decided on the composition of the board of NCSC. From now on the board will consist of two full board members and two substitutes from each country (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) plus the chairman.
