TIGR® Matrix Surgical Mesh goes large with the big cats in Vancouver at ASAPS 2012.

From May 5th – 7th, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) hosted it’s 2012 Aesthetics Meeting in beautiful Vancouver, BC.

Novus Scientific, represented by CEO Thomas Engström, Aron Wilson from Novus’s recently opened West Coast office (San Diego) and Jim Archetto from Boston hosted a booth and presented TIGR® Matrix Surgical Mesh to attending physicians.

More and more surgeons (both plastic and general) are becoming receptive to the world’s 1st long-term resorbable synthetic mesh. The recent availability of a new 20 x 30cm version (initially available in the United States ONLY) has further established TIGR® Matrix Surgical Mesh as a tool that many surgeons are calling ‘the future of mesh’.

Vocal followers include a growing line of Key Opinion Leaders from the fields of General surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive surgery from all corners of the globe. In the case of ASAPS 2012 these were, Doctors James Chao (UCSD), and Hilton Becker, the latter of whom presented a fascinating talk on “Sub-Areolar Mastopexy” in which he described his procedure using TIGR® Matrix.
