O’Learys opens restaurant in Sarpsborg, Norway
As the summer is coming to an end and holidaymakers are returning to their homes, O’Learys are opening the doors to a new restaurant in the shopping mall Storbyen, which is located in the city centre of Sarpsborg, Norway. The Swedish sports bar and restaurant chain has high hopes that their latest addition will become a meeting place for the Sarpsborg community, a place to gather and enjoy food and drinks and watch sports.
- We want to give to the town an unsurpassed sports bar option – a place for locals to get together and have great food and drinks, says Kjetil Døviken, operational manager at O’Learys Sarpsborg. With more than 50 big screens, a menu filled with both American influences and new favorites set in a true sports bar atmosphere that few can match, this will probably become a given hangout spot for many sports interested people.
O’Learys Sarpsborg opens on the 10th of August and is located in connection to the city’s pedestrian zone. Except for great food, drinks and sports, the restaurant also has a Kid’s Corner, shuffleboard and dart. There will be a wide range of sports showing on the 50 big screens – both local and seasonal sports events, and a mix of football, ice hockey, Formula 1, American football and basketball. The 400 m2 big restaurant fits 300 seats and additional outdoor seating adds room for 75 people.
