LEICA CAMERA AG RELIES ON SOLUTIONS FROM OPUSCAPITA FOR ITS PROCUREMENT AND CATALOGS

Dortmund, 07 June 2018 – Leica Camera AG, the internationally renowned premium manufacturer of cameras and sports optics products, is now automating processes with solutions from OpusCapita. OpusCapita's specialists boost procurement efficiency at Leica with e-procurement solutions. In addition, OpusCapita’s Dortmund software experts establish eCatalog solutions and support content management.

With its "Procurement Manager" and "Budget Manager" solutions including budget planners, OpusCapita ensures efficient processes with a high degree of automation in procurement. The catalogs for C-Materials and Services have been extended with solutions such as "Online Product Catalog Enterprise" and "Smart Forms" and can thus be used efficiently. Services were also integrated by means of "Smart Forms". Also, the content management is now handled by OpusCapita’s team. The project is focused on long-term cooperation. The launch took place in Germany, a future rollout at the second production site of Leica Camera AG in Portugal is planned.
