PEMA Annual General Meeting 2013

PEMA's AGM will this year be held on February 3 to 5 at the Technical Customer Centre, SICK AG, Waldkirch, Germany.

This year's event will be jointly hosted by SICK AG and Conductix-Wampfler. It is open to PEMA members and invited guests. In addition to committee working sessions and the official 2013 AGM, the meeting will include a terminal operator discussion on ‘The Terminal of the Future’, featuring guest speakers Tom Ward, Chief Engineer of Ports America and Ross Clark, Head of Design and Innovation for APM Terminals.

With process automation still relatively unfamiliar, Kalmar, part of Cargotec, embarks on a series of webinars to increase the awareness of process automation, and its added value for ports and terminals. Early April, May and June will feature a session aimed at APAC/EMEA and a session aimed at the Americas detailing the solutions part of the SmartPort concept and their functionality.
