Craft Sportswear launches powerful US Ski Team racing suit

The collaboration between Swedish sportswear brand Craft and the U.S. Ski Team has resulted in stylish and powerful racing garments that will be worn by Jessie Diggins, Andy Newell, Bryan and Taylor Fletcher and all the other stars on the American team during the 2015/2016 season.

"It's fantastic to work together with the U.S. Cross Country and Nordic Combined Ski Teams," says Craft's designer Lena Karlsson. "USA has a tradition of strong expressions and a mentality to always go all in, which we have built on in the design of the new competition items. Using stars, stripes and dots in various sizes and placed them in lines that follow the moving body, we have created a suit that emanates speed and power. In this case, more is definitely more."

The new U.S. Ski Team competition garments are based on Craft's revolutionary Podium Suit, which is made of very thin and lightweight Italian polyester that offers superior body-temperature management. Compression fabrics in the legs keep the muscles focused while ultrasonic taped seams create a smooth surface for optimal aerodynamics.

The suit is packed with innovative features including Moving Wing Technology ™, which is a wing-like construction piece at the upper back that ensures total freedom of movement and allows the skiers to transmit all their power into each pole stroke. In addition, three-dimensional ergonomic design provides perfect fit and optimal comfort. The suit is also for teams and clubs to design and purchase through CRAFT’s custom program.

The partnership between Craft and the US Ski Team started in 2015 and will continue through the 2018 Olympic season.
