Kobbs is up for a brand award

Löfbergs won the Signum Award in 2007. The company's tea brand can now do the same. But competitors like Crescent, Kalles, Skistar and Ving have to be defeated first. It became clear when this year's twelve finalists for the Signum Award were presented.

Kobbs is one of the great Swedish tea brands and is owned by the coffee roaster Löfbergs since 2007. Kobbs was established in 1809 and has its roots in the Swedish East India Company that delivered tea to Sweden already in the beginning of the 17th century.

The Signum Award has been presented since 1995 and rewards the Nordic company that best manages and develops their trademark. Previous winners of the award are, among others, Absolut, Hästens, Ica, Svenska Dagbladet and Tetra Pak. Löfbergs was awarded in 2007 for its colourful branding that included trademark protection of the colour purple.

The company behind the award is Groth & Co, a consulting company in intellectual property. The winner of the Signum Award will be revealed on 22 January 2015.
